Linda Davidson

Linda’s adventures with Colorado Haiti Project began in 1989 as a member of the first medical team from the Diocese of Colorado to travel to Petit Trou de Nippes. Responding to the invitation to serve and help establish a mission in Haiti turned her view of the world upside down. Tent camping in an open field that now 31 years later is the bustling St. Paul’s parish and school did not dampen her enthusiasm. She traveled frequently to Petit Trou in the early years and was inspired to pursue her dream of a career as a nurse-midwife. She received her Master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Colorado in 1997 and practiced as a nurse-midwife for 21 years in Fort Collins and Loveland.

Her most recent visit to Petit Trou was in 2019 when she joined members of her home parish, St Tim’s, for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of St Paul’s parish and school. Linda joined the CHP board in January 2020. She is an advocate for parishes in the diocese to join hands and hearts in partnership with our family in Petit Trou.

Linda likes nothing better than time with her extended family and can be found cooking creatively, camping and fishing, biking and pursuing her musical interests. Read more about Linda here.
