CHP Supporters Visit Petit Trou de Nippes

A group of nine Colorado Haiti Project supporters concluded a successful visit to Petit Trou de Nippes last week in which they learned more about our programs, met community leaders, and participated in the 2nd annual Harvest Festival that one of them described as "a big celebration where the school kids and local farmers sell their crops, seeds, animals and other goods. There was lots of dancing." CHP Executive Director Wynn Walent and Program Coordinator Teresa Henry organized the visit, which is one of several trips they run throughout the year to help Coloradans foster a connection to Haiti.
